Position Overview

The Business Analyst analyzes business processes and workflows for future state optimisation and ensures they are efficient and effective, while also ensuring that the quality of products and services meets the company's standards. The Business Analyst is responsible for identifying areas for improvement, recommending solutions, and ensuring that the implemented changes meet quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of business processes, systems, and workflows.
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and document business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and define business needs.

2. Quality Assurance

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Identify and document defects and issues, and work with teams to resolve them.
  • Ensure that products and services meet quality benchmarks and customer expectations.

3. Process Improvement

  • Recommend and implement solutions to improve business processes and quality.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for optimized processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of process improvements.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and make adjustments as needed.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Collect and analyze data to support business and quality analysis.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Provide insights and actionable recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide solutions.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among various teams to ensure alignment.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on analysis and improvement initiatives.

6. Project Management

  • Lead and manage business and quality analysis projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or challenges that arise.

7. Training and Support

  • Provide training and support to team members on new processes and quality standards.
  • Develop training materials and user guides to facilitate smooth adoption.
  • Address any issues or questions from team members related to business processes and quality.

8. Other Duties

  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and quality management.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and quality assurance practices.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Tableau).
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Six Sigma, Scrum) is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
